Updated story of the new frontier for M.E. YOUNG

Naked Seeds, One Woman Unearths What Was Silenced, my book is now available on October 22nd from Amazon in paper and Kindle, requiring more than writing stories, poems, and sermons. It was a steep learning curve for my Wise older self to upload all kinds of technology never before experienced.

I consider this journey to be my graduate degree, unofficially, in writing and publishing in the 21st century. Meg Calvin has been a kind, skilled, and creative coach, marketing maven, and friend. Jodi McPhee completed the copy editing and formatting with creativity and patience for my variety of prose, poems, sermons, prayers, and health tips.

Profound gratitude is flowing to you both. Also, a published author, Alison Fabricius, used patience, knowledge, and humor to lead me through the jungle of learning to create this website.

October 22nd, 2024

Today, I celebrate my accomplishments as I chose to spend the last three years writing and marketing, and now, I am publishing and selling my book, Naked Seeds.

*I gathered and curated decades of some of my written work into one place.

*Contracted with a traditional publishing company for the book

*Bravely, I decided not to let myself and my work be censored and silenced and searched for another route to get my book in the hands of those it might serve.

*I learned how to send my artwork's highest quality images to my publishing partner.

*I asked my NYT bestselling Author friend to design my book cover based on my vision

*I honored my standards and helped my editor format the book to match my vision.

*I learned how to build a website to market myself as an author

*I learned how to build an email list of people hungry for my book

*I learned how to build a promo team for my book

*I learned how to market my book through organic social media marketing with Facebook

*I earned podcast guesting spots

*I will be a guest on a local radio show in my town.

Thanks to everyone who was patient with my learning process and celebrated my accomplishments.
